Hello there, interwebz.

Well, we're old friends, aren't we Internet? I keep a blog about running here, too, but I thought I'd take a shot at throwing some of my thoughts about my other world here.

I have been a fundraiser at the N.C. Center for Nonprofits for about 3 years, and just recently, my job changed to include a lot of marketing. I'm no expert - I'm learning where I can. My goal with this little blog is to share what I'm learning as I go. Thankfully, I know a lot of really smart people so my hope is that I'll have loads to share with you.

I also want this to be about the hard stuff, too, and a place where we can all share ideas and support as we try to lift up our organizations, and particularly the nonprofits about which we are passionate. So, comment away. Or find me on twitter @SarahM_NCCNP.

Sweet! Now I can check, "First Bloggy Post!" off of my lengthy to-do list. SO cathartic!
Sarah

  1. Nonprofit marketing involves the creation of logos, slogans and copy, as well as the development of a media campaign to expose the organization to an outside.More info visit:Nonprofit fundraising software
